Serve chive and citrus butter with slices of fresh bread, steamed vegetables, or corn cobs.

Method
Cream the butter and beat in the lemon juice. Add grated lemon rind and chopped chives and fold through. Transfer mixture onto plastic wrap. Form a cylindrical shape. Chill until firm. Slice into rounds and use as required. Freeze for up to 12 weeks.
