Bright green, soft leaf is delicious added to diced fried bacon or grated cheese or diced cooked onion or steamed lightly as an addition to any meat or vegetable dish. Common Health and Nutritional Beliefs: Said to be a source of dietary fibre, folic acid, and Vitamins A, B2 and B6. SPINACH DIP IN A COB BREAD BOWL RECIPE:- Scoop out the centre of the cob loaf and cut this bread into bite size pieces. To make the dip- Cook and drain well about 250 g of spinach leaves. Add 1/2 cup of sour cream,1/2 cup mayonaise, 1/2 cup chopped eschallots and the dry contents of 1/2 35g pack of leek soup. Mix well and pour into cob bowl.
